6) Introduction

Casing centralizers are to help center the casing in the wellbore, allowing even distribution of the cement around te casing during cementing operations.

Hinged Non-welded casing centralizers have hinge-pin design with woven bow profile.

7) Function
a. Take casing to designed position by reducing sticking while casing going down.
b. Centralize casing in well.
c. Balance liquid pressure in annular space by reducing adhesion phenomenon.
d. Improving replacing ratio of mud and boosting cementing quality by reducing channeling effect.
e. Reset force of double-bow casing centralizer is higher than sigle-bow casing centralizer's, and centralization performance is stronger.
 

8) Features of Hinged Non-welded Casing Centralizers:

a. The installation is very convenient by setting two halves on the piece and inserting the pin in the end collar hinge.

b. The dissembled centralizers make a compact package, greatly reducing shipping cost.
