7) Introduction
Bow Type casing centralizer is to help center the casing in the wellbore, allowing even distribution of the cement around the casing during cementing operations.
Welded Hinged Casing Centralizer has hinge-pin design with smooth continuous bow profile, having both advantages of welded centralizers and hinged centralizers.
8) Application
Welded Hinged Casing Centralizer is used in most types of well designs and wells with less stringent well design requirements.
9) Features of Welded Hinged Casing Centralizer:
a. Higher restoring force with lower cost, excellent centralizing function as good as single piece casing centralizers.
b. The installation is very convenient by setting two halves on the piece and inserting the pin in the end collar hinge.
c. The dissembled centralizers make a compact package, greatly reducing shipping cost.
