Air cannon or Air blaster, also known as air flow-aiding machine or bunker dredger (block clearer), is a special device for preventing and removing material arching and blocking in various types of silo, hopper, preheater kiln, piping crotch and draw shaft and slide slope. It can be used on steel, concrete and wood-based hopper. It is widely used in the coal, metallurgical, chemical, thermal power, cement and other industries. Air cannon, as a good flow assistant systems, it can effectively prevent the buildup of materials and solve the blocking problems in transfer chutes, storage vessels, and process equipment such as preheater towers and clinker coolers.
Parts of Air Cannon
Cannon body: Store air. Cannon body is made of Q235-B steel plate. Mainly adopt automatic submerged arc welding and carbon dioxide arc welding for steel plate welding. After X-ray crack detection, mechanical properties test, water pressure test for strength and blasting performance test, it is qualified and safe for use.
Outrigger or rings: Fix air cannon.
Water Discharge Machine: In the course of time water and oil may be accumulated in the body. Unload the twisted wire then blocking dirt can be discharged out.
Safety valve: It is spring-loaded safety valve, whose start pressure is 0.4-0.8Mpa(users can self-adjust). If there is a reliable safety valve on the gas source, the safety valve on the cannon may be cancelled.
Piston: It's made of nylon 66, and is sealed by its piston ring. There're a number of rubber plates at the top of the piston. There is a spring at the rear of the Pistons, so that Piston's reduction activities can buffer spring in order to prevent materials entering the Piston and cannon body.
Solenoid valve: It is the main components in air-cannon's action which can be prepared in accordance with the user's requirement. Remarks: air control valve and explosion-proof solenoid valve are used under ground while the effect is the same.
Cylinder: Adopt alloy steel, and is manufactured by the advanced coating technology.
Piston Rubber Seat: Rubber seat is added to the rear piston to ensure that the compressed spring is not overloaded, to keep flexible energy of the spring.
Asbestos rubber gasket: Play the role of pressing and sealing.
Sealing surface: The cannon exhaust pipe end in the body with specialized technology and equipment for grinding, good sealing performance, preventing from leaking when store gas, energy conservation, ensures the air pressure in the cannon body so that make sure the impact effect when it's blasting.
