6) Introduction

Casing centralizers are to help center the casing in the wellbore can be used to help align casings through well heads near surface, allowing even distribution of the cement around the casing during cementing operations.

Casting steel solid rigid casing centralizer is developed for better cementing in highly deviated and horizontal wells.

9) Installation of Solid Rigid Casing Centralizer
Solid Rigid Casing Centralizer can be installed on the casing with stop collars or with integral set screws. Installations that allow casing rotation and reciprocation are preferred because of improved displacement efficiency. Most slip-on rigid centralizers must be installed between stop collars and are freely floating there between.
